Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Drill Master for a 1st Shift opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines, along with the ability to run CNC tooling, cutter, and grinder equipment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Run CNC tools, cutters, and grinding machines to produce quality parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary offset adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
• Change tooling and maintain machine efficiency throughout production runs.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining experience required.
• Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis machine setup and operation is required.
• Knowledge of CNC tooling, cutters, and grinder machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
